Jhankar Special School & Vocational Training Centre is a dedicated initiative under Nupur Handicapped Children & Social Welfare Aid (NHCSWA), committed to transforming the lives of children with special needs. Established with a vision to create a nurturing, inclusive, and empowering environment, we focus on providing specialized education, therapy, and vocational training to children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Multiple Disabilities, and Intellectual Disabilities.
With over 27 years of experience, Anjana Bhatnagar, the driving force behind this institution, has devoted her life to supporting, educating, and uplifting children with special needs. Her passion, expertise, and commitment have helped countless children and their families overcome challenges and build a brighter future.
At Jhankar, we believe that every child is unique and deserves personalized care and guidance. Our special education programs are tailored to suit each child's cognitive, emotional, and physical abilities, ensuring they receive the right support to reach their full potential. We offer Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy, all aimed at enhancing communication, mobility, and social interaction skills.

Beyond education and therapy, we focus on skill development and vocational training, empowering children and young adults to become self-reliant. Our hands-on training in candle making, diya crafting, envelope making, jewelry designing, and more helps them gain essential skills for independent living and financial stability. Our commitment extends beyond children, as we also provide family counseling, parental guidance, and awareness programs to help families navigate the journey of raising a child with special needs. “Jhankar Special School & Vocational Training Centre was founded with a vision to empower children with special needs through education, therapy, and skill development. Established under Nupur Handicapped Children & Social Welfare Aid (NHCSWA), it was inspired by Anjana Bhatnagar’s 27 years of dedication to special education. Since 1997, she has worked tirelessly to support and uplift differently-abled children and their families. Over the years, Jhankar has evolved into a safe and inclusive space where children receive personalized education and therapeutic care. Our programs focus on holistic development, ensuring that every child reaches their full potential. Beyond academics, we provide vocational training to foster independence and confidence. Through art, music, dance, and sports, we help children express themselves and develop key life skills. Our team of trained professionals and therapists work closely with families to provide the best care and guidance.
